Global Connections

Global Connection operates as a network of Christian organisations linked together for resources, learning and representation. InterHealth is a member of Global Connections, providing integrated health and wellbeing support to agencies within the network.

Global Connections is a growing, vibrant network of UK agencies, churches, colleges and support services linked together for resources, learning and representation. Together, we seek to serve, equip and develop churches in their mission in order to fulfil our shared vision of 'mission at the heart of the church, the church at the heart of mission'.

International Society of Travel Medicine (ISTM)

The International Society of Travel Medicine (ISTM) is the global medical membership body to which travel health professionals belong and has nearly 3000 members from over 50 countries and is committed to the promotion of healthy and safe travel.

InterHealth staff have been actively involved for many years, speaking at their international conferences. Dr. Ted Lankester was until recently on their Leadership Council and along with Dr. Evelyn Sharpe founded their special interest group on psychological health now numbering 300 members. InterHealth won their research grant in 2011.

InterHealth is an associate member of People in Aid who share our commitment to staff care, advocating good practice in the sector through their Code of Conduct.

People In Aid improves organisational effectiveness within the humanitarian and development sector worldwide by advocating, supporting and recognising good practice in the management of people.

National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO)

NCVO champions and strengthens the voluntary sector, with over 10,000 members, from the largest charities to the smallest community organisations. NCVO has brought the voluntary sector’s people together for over 90 years: to solve problems, address root causes, and inspire each other.

InterHealth is a member of NCVO and is delighted to have partnered with NCVO to deliver a variety of training events for HR and managers.
