Our Occupational Health service offers nursing and medical support that helps you to remain fit and safe in order to fulfil your job role. Occupational Health checks that your work is not likely to adversely affect your health and wellbeing, ensuring your employer meets its legal responsibilities.

We have prepared a list of frequently asked questions relating to occupational health appointments, which we hope will be useful in answering your questions.
What to expect
An occupational health consultation will usually last for approxomately 60 minutes. This can be a face to face or a telephone appointment. At the end of the consultation our nurses will answer any questions you may have. They will provide health advice and summarise the feedback in a report for your employer. The report will focus on the work-related aspects of your health and fitness for work, making only advisory recommendations.
Your medical information remains confidential, and you will be asked for consent to disclose sensitive or confidential information if we believe it is in your organisations interest.
