InterHealth fights poverty through trade by using Traidcraft fair trade products

The Fairtrade movement is a trading partnership, based on dialogue, transparency, and respect, that seeks greater equity in international trade. This includes paying a fair price to producers, developing strong supplier relationships and investing in local infrastructure to improve lives of the communities and make it more sustainable.

InterHealth supports, respects and admires the work that the Fairtrade Foundation does to educate consumers about ethical spending. Fairtrade organisations, backed by consumers, are engaged actively in supporting producers, awareness raising and in campaigning for changes in the rules and practice of conventional international trade.

About Traidcraft
Established in 1979 as a Christian response to poverty, Traidcraft combines a trading company and a development charity. Their mission is to fight poverty through trade, practising and promoting approaches to trade that help poor people in developing countries transform their lives. They build lasting relationships with producers, support people to trade out of poverty and work to bring about trade justice.
