Preparation
Ensure your prospective UK employees are safe and fit for their role and highlight any pre-existing health conditions and disabilities that may affect their work and wellbeing. This includes a health clearance certificate with recommendations and adjustments where appropriate to your organisation after individuals have completed a personal health questionnaire.
If further clinical information is required a telephone consultation will be made.
Normally used for senior UK based employees to ensure they are fit for their role and highlight any pre-existing health conditions and disabilities that may affect their work and wellbeing.

A clearance report will be provided to your organisation to highlight any identified support needs. Includes guidance for management, and will support your long term organisational risk management.

InterHealth provides specialist support and guidance following critical incidents. Where possible onsite support may be available however assistance is always accessible via Skype, online or telephone to enable an appropriate organisational response to the challenging situation.

A confidential consultation, away from demands of pastoral work, in order to reflect on the impact of Christian Ministry. It focuses on work related issues, on health & wellbeing, and increasing resilience by finding creative ways forward. It can be a series of on-going consultations.
For individuals (60 minutes) and groups.
This is an online tool for enhancing clergy resilience; it has an outstanding record in the commercial world, is based on 20 years of validated work in the Occupational Health sector and has been carefully constructed and sensitively adapted for the church ministry context. Managing Ministry Pressure Better (MMPB) is offered to diocese / areas or groups of clergy; it begins with individuals completing a 30 minute confidential online questionnaire. Results are available to individuals immediately along with guidance and appropriate recommendations for personal resilience building. It also provides senior area staff and diocesan clergy with aggregated and anonymous results in order to support effective organisational responses to stress issues.

An opportunity to review any health concerns, lifestyle and wellbeing issues with a sympathetic doctor, including any recommended blood tests.
It provides individuals with a unique opportunity to ask questions and discuss any health problems with a sympathetic doctor including issues that may be specific to those in Christian ministry. (45 minutes medical)
Managing Stress and Adversity

An evaluation of mental health and review of medication issues with advice & follow up. A psychiatric report is available on request.
Available as a full (1.5 hour) or short (45 minute) consultation.
An opportunity for church leaders to confidentially explore any aspect of ministry, or recent life events, reflecting on their personal wellbeing, work and relationships. (60 minutes)
For anyone who requires on-going professional counselling to help address issues of personal development, or identify, and manage specific difficulties. Available in groups of six sessions at a time.

A "Here and Now" approach to understanding and overcoming psychological health problems. It focuses on an individual’s thoughts and behaviours, and how, by challenging and changing them can enable them to be more in control of their life, and feel better equipped to manage. (60 minutes)
An initial consultation to enable an organisation to support anyone feeling troubled or experiencing difficult times, to discuss any issues and decide on a way forward. This may include a referral for personal counselling at InterHealth or elsewhere. (60 minutes)
Reducing Sickness Absence

Support
Prevent long term sickness absence where possible with a rapid referral and response from Occupational Health (OH). We will identify any health issues and make clinical recommendations. Individuals must be referred within six weeks of absence. This is a 30 minute telephone consultation with a short report to the organisation.
In cases where there are employee health concerns, or performance issues, our OH team can make recommendations to your organisation.
For UK based staff we can undertake site visits, home visits and hospital visits as required. For international staff this will be a telephone appointment.
We will identify any health issues and make clinical recommendations in a report to the organisation. (60 minute consultation)
Following an initial Occupational Health Consultation, a follow-up consultation may be recommended to review the individual’s health.

Review
A specialist review that provides an independent medical view of an employee’s eligibility for ill health retirement. Governed by Pension Plan Rules.
