Directions
From Borough High Street Underground Station on foot
5 minute walk
Come out of the station and turn right. Continue walking straight down Borough High Street, which shortly merges into Newington Causeway. You will pass Southwark Police Station. InterHealth is a 5 minute walk on the left.
From Elephant & Castle Underground Station on foot
2 minute walk
If you have come from the Bakerloo Line, please follow signs for ‘South Bank University Exit’. Once out of the station, turn left and walk round the station onto Newington Causeway. Proceed down Newington Causeway for approximately 2 minutes, and you will find InterHealth on the right hand side of the road just after the overhanging bridge.
Otherwise, if you come out of the station from the Northern Line, turn right to walk round the station and down to the small market. Proceed left under the passageway and continue until the path rises and then exit. You will find yourself facing a Nando’s Restaurant, then veer left and continue for approximately 3 minutes. You will find InterHealth on the right hand side of the road just after the overhanging bridge.
From Waterloo Station by train
Approximately 9 minutes
We recommend that you take the Northern Line or Bakerloo Line to either Borough or Elephant & Castle Stations and follow our directions from there.
Bus Routes
The following buses stop near to InterHealth: 35, 40, 133, 333, 343 and C10 at either the ‘Newington Causeway’ or ‘Southwark Police Station’ stops on Newington Causeway.
Disabled Access
If you are a wheelchair user or have walking difficulties, please notify our reception team at the time you make your appointment and they would be happy to assist you. Ramped access to our premises is available.
Parking
There is metered parking at roughly £2.40 an hour on Tiverton Street, the road directly behind InterHealth, or at £4.40 for two hours on Gaunt Street, the road directly in front of InterHealth.
Elephant & Castle Shopping Centre
From Elephant & Castle round-about turn onto New Kent Road and then take the first right onto Elephant Road. You will find parking at Elephant & Castle Shopping Centre for £3.00 per hour, open from 07.30am – 23.30pm every day.
Congestion Charge
Please be aware that InterHealth is within the congestion charge zone.
